Web Sealer With Shrink Tunnel

A web sealer with a shrink tunnel is an automated packaging machine that first encloses products in a heat-shrinkable film sleeve and then uses heat to shrink the film tightly around the items. This integrated system creates a secure, tamper-evident, and professional package, commonly used for bundling items like bottles, cans, and cartons in the food, beverage, and consumer goods industries.

How it works

  • Web Sealing: The machine uses a roll of heat-shrinkable film (like polyethylene) to create a sleeve that goes around the product or a bundle of products.
  • Sealing: The web sealer uses heat bars to create a strong, secure seal, often with a pneumatic cutter for a precise cut.
  • Shrink Tunnel: The sealed product then automatically moves into a shrink tunnel, where hot air is circulated evenly to cause the film to shrink tightly around the contents.

Key features

  • Fully or semi-automatic operation: Reduces manual labor and increases efficiency.
  • Integrated system: Combines sealing and shrinking into a single, space-saving line.
  • Adjustable settings: Allows for customization of conveyor speed, tunnel temperature, and other parameters for different products and film types.
  • Durable construction: Often built with heavy-duty stainless steel for longevity.
  • Versatile application: Suitable for a wide range of products and industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and logistics.
