Shrink Chamber

A shrink chamber is a packaging machine that uses heat to shrink a plastic film around a product, creating a tight, protective, and aesthetically pleasing seal. These machines combine a sealing and shrinking process, often in a single step, and are designed for a variety of products and shrink films, including PVC, POF, and PP. They improve durability, protect items during shipping, and enhance the final product's appearance.

How it works

  • An operator places a product inside the chamber, often on a conveyor or turntable.
  • The operator manually closes the hood, and the machine automatically seals the film around the product.
  • Heat is then applied, causing the film to shrink and conform tightly to the product's shape.
  • Some models have automated conveyor systems to move the product out after the process is complete.
  • The clear cover allows the operator to see the entire process.
